Mother’s Debt

Mother’s Debt

My mother and father are old
Mother can not see and father
Yet strong and bold.
I work as an officer in Government
Got a car and a bunglow
Furniture and two all time servant.
My wife is very beautiful and mod
She belongs to an IPS family
Little cares anybody even my dad.
I have two children, one girl another boy
They think themselves as rich and affluent
Everything to them like a toy.
What culture my parents taught
To me in my childhood days
Regarding that they always fought.
My mistress is rich in look and wealth
Having big house, jewelry and western education
Consider that permanent is their health.
But alas! How foolish you are
Take care to your in laws and old ones
Try to bear the pain give enough care.
We forget or nobody reminds us
Just from the day of pregnancy
Mothers can travel by bus.
They can not lift weight even
Move water full of buckets
Sometimes may walk gently in garden.
With the advancement of delivery time
Most of the time spent lying on the bed
Few families compel them to work and do crime.
A baby in the womb sprawls in the belly of mother
She bears all with pleasure
Other troubles a baby gives, she little bother.

Before delivery mother feels unbearable pain
Immediately she is taken to a hospital
Bearing intolerable pangs of birth, lastly she gain.
Her beautiful belly is full of scratch with
Wounds and marks of stitch she carry
In giving birth to you, the today’s officer.
It takes nearly six months to recover the wounds
She fails to get out of bed and do any hard work
Eat normal food, remains with many restrictions.
Lest you fall ill, she takes light meal
Wears clean cloth and lie on clean bed
A sense of ownership and cleanliness always feel.
Sometimes she can not move, but feeds you milk
You used to cry and discharge stool and urine
In every one or half an  hour.
She attends you every time in happiness and mirth
Washes your clothes of urine and stool
A lot more pains she bears with your birth.
Mother can not sleep at day time nor at night
You cry, whenever she sits for taking food
Many times you did leave your urine and bite.
She smilingly changes your clothes and then sit again
When you cry in pain or hunger, you then can’t speak
Mother becomes restless, and bound your father in chain.
Calls the doctor and sends your father to medical shop
Take every care to get the best treatment
Your betterment and cure becomes her only hope.

Mother smiles when you smile and laugh
She gets nervous when you cry and feel uneasy
It is mother who then becomes tough.
She is always anxious to see your health good
Gets measurement and does your weight
Buys new and beautiful clothes in mood.
When you are a little boy she takes every
care to keep you safe from dangers
when people tell you good she becomes merry.
She teaches you first lesson in life
Which you encash later at every  step
In case of diplomacy or rife.
She helps you to walk and speak
You follow your mother in toto
Never leave the border of your mom’s saree.
It is you who first took  admission in the school
Holding your parents fingers
Think of those days sitting in cool.
