I am basically from a municipality area of Nadia district of West Bengal, India. After completing my Master's Degree in 1991 from Kalyani University I started doing Management study from Chatterjee International in the same year. But within a few months I left for Delhi after having offer of job from one of my football fans, then living in Delhi.
However, I spend there about 9 years and came back to Kolkata with a job. I then lived in Birnagar and Dum Dum Cantt. for two years. After that I joined in Ghatal Y.S.S. Vidyapith (H.S.) as a teacher of Poltical Science. Nice experience, joined in Ph. D. Program at Vidyasagar University under Prof. Anil Kumar Jana, an erudite person.
Did Ph. D. successfully, wrote 9 books, published more than three dozens of articles, edited one fortnightly newspaper and another e-magazine published from Hyderabad. Great time passed with some great persons including bureaucrats, police officers, social workers, teachers, professors, and after all nice student community.
Came to Kolkata as a Head Master of a High School in January, 2015. Good starting, except narrow politics among some colleagues. Fallen in a trap of some bad elements and through them other holigans, some politicians and bad elements. They demanded money, like extortion, which even the local MLA and P.A. to a influential Minister failed to settle.
A boy of just 26 or 28 calls even the MLA by name and does not care at all. Local people did not come to help, in spite of repeated requested. The goonda boy told me "My name is J...., Nobody will come to help you from local club or party, let even any individual." This proved true. No one came to help. I have paid one third of amount, and will have to pay rest two instalments, as was dictated by a P.A. to an influential MLA.
This is a rare experience in my entire life. CPI (M) leaders, Congress leaders, BJP leaders in my entire academic life always respected me in Ghatala and wherever I worked or stayed. No satrap or dada ever dared such things. But, Kolkata under the rule of Mamata Banerjee, is really a place where gentlemen will afraid to live. So, how will the industrialists come and invest here.
This might be considered as the beginning of the downfall process of this government.
Let's see what happens in the days to come.
I told Mr. Kapil Sibal in 2009 and 2010 that I shall try my level best to defeat you and your government as you introduced a law with retrospective effective, where Ph. D. students like me who spent all energies and money with a view to getting a job in higher educational institutions, failed to touch that only because of Mr. Sibal. He is now out of power and will not come ever I suppose, This West Bengal Government, if not changed, will not stay for more days in power, it is a natural justice, which nobody can avoid. Let's hope for the good days for the citizenry of the state.
