Good Wishes
by
Dr. Keshab Chandra Mandal
Ba, my little sister
Is going to give birth a daughter.
She, never lived in India,
Lives far away in Russia.
All along an intelligent and witty
She now teaches in a university.
Triple burden faced by women
To maintain home, office and children.
Everywhere in the world they work more
They get up early and go to bed later.
It is true to girls and women all
In average families whatever big or small.
No, no, today no any words of despair
Only prayer and hope for better.
I welcome in advance the baby in womb
Who would be same ascetic like her mom.
God, please keep both mother and baby well
I vow to go a church and play the bell.
The end.
