Dr. keshab chandra mandal

: Kolkata, West Bengal, India; Along with my teaching profession, I have been doing research since last two decades now. So far I have published 14 books, three monographs and more than four dozens of articles in various national and international journals, magazines and newspapers. I am on the editorial board of two magazines. My fields of interest are gender empowerment, local governments and development studies. I have obtained my first M.A. degree in Political Science from Kalyani University (1991), two more M.A. degrees from Madurai Kamraj University (2006 & 2008) and Ph. D. degree from Vidyasagar University (2009), and successfully completed an ICSSR-sponsored research project (2015-2017) as it’s Project Director. Out of my total 14 publications, four works in six publications in English language has 46 world library holdings.
